Video: Old Man McCain Loses Temper
March 9, 2008 by polivox
Sen. John McCain showed a hint of his true colors on Friday when he lost a little of his temper with a journalist during a plane ride from Atlanta to New Orleans.
The whole incident began earlier in the day at a campaign rally in Atlanta. A journalist at the rally asked McCain if he would consider a bi-partisan ticket and a vice president like Democrat John Kerry, the same way Kerry had considered McCain during the 2004 election. McCain’s response amounted to admission that he had a conversation with Kerry in 2004 about the possibility.
Fast-forward to the ‘Straight Talk Express’ plane en route to New Orleans. John McCain takes a leisurely stroll down the plane’s aisle to a herd of waiting reporters. A New York Times journalist — once again – asked McCain about the subject of a bi-partisan ticket
The journalist reminded the Senator that in 2004, he had denied that a conversation with Kerry had taken place, or that a bi-partisan Kerry/McCain ticket was even a serious consideration. The journalist pointed out the discrepancy in that statement and the admission he had made earlier at the rally.
Was there or was there not a conversation with Kerry?
We never get the truth, but what ensues is a hint of the classic McCain temper that we’ve grown accustomed to over the years. Watch as McCain gets stiff, and uses sarcasm as well as a demeaning manner to show his aggravation with the journalist and the line of questioning.

John McCain is the sorriest candidate running. He is just another Bush, he was angry and condescending to the reporter because he got caught in a lie. He, like Bush does not like to be questioned and given that veto power this nation will be in much worse condition that it is today.
